As Java and BREW mobile phones rapidly spread throughout the world, more and more consumers are realizing the advantages of sophisticated mobile phone applications with better functionality. Sophia Cradle credits a "common platform" as the catalyst that will capitalize on the mobile application trend, and will provide compression tools and C++ class libraries, key technologies for such platforms. Our staff consists of young professional programmers in their twenties. With their infinite potential, most of them have been familiar with programming since their teens.We regard the developments achieved through our programming to be works of art through which we can produce a creative product.

Sophia Cradle is currently seeking individuals who are interested in programming or mobile Internet, who are passionate and enthusiastic, and confident in their abilities. We also provide you with a working environment where you can showcase your talent.

Job Title

Software Engineer

Role

Research and development of a Sophia Cradle product. Includes planning, designing, programming, documentation and maintenance. Work full-time or part-time.

We are currently working on:

  1. C++ class library for BREW
     SophiaFramework UNIVERSE
  2. Compression tool for BREW applications
     SophiaCompress(BREW) EARTH 
  3. Compression tool for Java applications
     SophiaCompress(Java) OASIS 

Requirements

3 years experience in programming, or a year of experience in programming in C++ language. Self-motivation. More than 4 days of work a week.

Location

3F Shibunkaku Kaikan, 2-7 Tanaka Sekiden-cho, Sakyo-ku, Kyoto, Japan
(The nearest station to our office is Keihan Demachiyanagi Station, 7 minutes walk.)

Working hours

from 9:00 to 17:00

Days off

Saturday, Sunday, national holidays, New Year holidays, and paid-holidays

Working Benefits

Payment will be determined by your ability and job performance.No dress code. Transportation costs are covered.
