Full Story

SophiaCompress(BREW), since its first release in January 2004, has been adopted by major mobile phone Internet content providers and game makers. So far, it has been used in more than ten KDDI application services called Ez Appli(BREW). The new features of SophiaCompress(BREW) Version 1.1.0 are as follows.

1) Reduced runtime memory
An average reduction of 33% of runtime memory. This new method enables an end-user to run an application even if the handset memory is small.

2) Running by command lines
SophiaCompress(BREW) can be run with a command line, so that you do not have to use graphical user interface (GUI) to compress an application. A "make" file automates a series of compression processes including compression of a program.
